Engel & Völkers Florida Renews Madeira Beach and South Tampa Franchise Agreements

Franchise partners reaffirm long-term commitment to rebuilding and strengthening their Tampa Bay presence

Engel & Völkers Florida today announced the renewal of its Madeira Beach franchise, originally signed in 2015. The renewal underscores the commitment of License Partners Cherie Pattishall, Michael Wyckoff, Jeramiah Bustin, and Shane Vanderson to both the Engel & Völkers brand and the Tampa Bay community. The ownership group’s South Tampa franchise, originally signed in 2020 and launched in 2021, has also been renewed early to align with Madeira Beach’s new 5-year term. This parallel renewal ensures a unified strategic approach for the two neighboring brokerages.

“After losing our shop to the storm, we’ve proven our resilience and commitment to rebuilding stronger than before,” said Pattishall. “As we recover, our focus is on continuing to grow our reputation as the leading luxury brokerage on the coast—rooted in competence, exclusivity, and passion. The shop will remain a place where our advisors thrive, our clients feel valued, and our brand embodies the unique lifestyle of Madeira Beach.”

The Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach shop, formerly located at 14225 Gulf Blvd., first opened its doors on December 8, 2016, marking nearly a decade of service to the barrier island community. It was destroyed during Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. Despite the loss, the ownership team remains steadfast in their mission to rebuild and continue providing exceptional real estate services in Florida’s Tampa Bay region. The group is actively exploring new locations for the shop.

“As partners, we share the same vision: to not only rebuild what was lost, but to emerge stronger—expanding our market share, growing our team, and deepening our roots in the community,” said Wyckoff. “Our renewed franchise agreement reflects our long-term dedication to the Engel & Völkers brand and to delivering exceptional service for years to come.”

Pattishall and Wyckoff have worked together since 1997, combining more than 70 years of residential and commercial real estate experience in West Central Florida. Before joining Engel & Völkers, Wyckoff and Pattishall owned and operated Vicinity Realty Services, Inc., formerly Sun International Realty, Inc., which they later converted into Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach. Pattishall holds several professional designations, including Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), e-Pro, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and Professional Property Management Certificate (PPMC). Wyckoff also holds the GRI designation, along with Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB), Certified Professional Property Manager (CPMC), and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

“Cherie, Michael, Jeremiah, and Shane represent the true spirit of Engel & Völkers—resilient, passionate, and community-driven,” said Peter Giese, CEO of Engel & Völkers Florida. “Their commitment to rebuilding and growing both the Madeira Beach and South Tampa brokerages reflects the enduring strength of our network and the culture of collaboration we aim to foster across Florida.”
